ProSource is excited to be partnered with an Accountancy practice in Roscommon that is undergoing a growth phase. As a result, they are in requirement for an Accountant to join the team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a small to medium practice in Ireland, and be ready to hit the ground running. Audit experience would be beneficial but not compulsory.

Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of Financial Statements.
2. Providing training and support to junior staff, mentoring and delegating tasks.
3. Relationship Management: Managing a Portfolio of Clients and attending to their needs.
4. Auditing (if applicable).
5. Revenue reporting (VAT/ Tax).
6. Engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Assisting clients with budgeting and forecasting needs.
8. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax laws/ regulatory requirements.
9. Business Advisory Support / Tax planning.
10. Ad hoc requests as and when required.
Work Experience:
1. Experience in a practice environment within a small-medium practice in Ireland.
2. MUST HAVE IRISH PRACTICE EXPERIENCE OF AT LEAST 3 YEARS.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
4. Proficient in Accountancy policies and practice requirements.
5. Team player, with the ability to work on own initiative.
6. Excellent numeracy skills with a high level of attention to detail.
7. Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
8. Cloud Accounting software knowledge.
