Overview:
An established manufacturing business is seeking a skilled Strategic Growth Manager to drive commercial growth, client relationship management, and hands-on project delivery.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role blends strategic initiatives with project management expertise.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive revenue, build long-term partnerships, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Shape and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth goals.
* Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, prospects, and industry stakeholders.
* Spot opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximise client value.
* Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring long-term retention and satisfaction.
* Maintain an accurate sales pipeline through CRM systems and planning boards.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
* Collaborate with marketing to generate leads and raise brand visibility.
Project Management:
* Lead client projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
* Act as the primary client contact, managing expectations and resolving challenges proactively.
* Coordinate with internal teams — operations, procurement, finance — to align execution with business objectives.
* Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
* Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
About You:
* Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Project Management, or related discipline.
* 2+ years in business development, sales, or project management, ideally in a manufacturing or B2B environment.
* Proven record of hitting sales targets and delivering successful projects.
* Strong communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
* Skilled in CRM and project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Asana, Trello).
* Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
