Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our cleaning team as a Cleaning Operative. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility, ensuring all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner.
* Use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to guidelines set by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
* Ensure full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials, and agents, and use cleaning equipment only after correct training is given.
* Report any faulty equipment immediately, and do not use it until it has been repaired or replaced.
* Maintain a clean and tidy cleaning store, storing equipment correctly and safely at all times.
* Assist with other tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the cleaning team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent.
* Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic statutory training for the role, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
