VHA are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team on a part time basis.The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, and be able to work independently using their own initiative.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain accurate financial recordsUpload and maintain accurate data on companies PMS systemEnsure accurate documentation is in place on all filesPerform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling payments, and resolving discrepanciesConduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure precise transaction recordingAssist in preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statementsCollaborate with other team members to support financial decision-makingProcessing payrollQualifications:Proven experience as a bookkeeperProficiency in accounting software e.g. Sage, QuickBooksProficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Work and OutlookStrong knowledge of accounting principles and best practicesMinimum 3 years' experience in a similar roleStrong organisational and communication skills requiredMust be a team player with the ability to work autonomouslyIf you meet the above criteria, please send your CV an cover letter to Job Type: Part-timePay: €18.00-€25.00 per hourExpected hours: No more than 20 per weekBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsCompany pensionFlexitimeOn-site parkingSick payAbility to commute/relocate:Sligo, CO.
