Job Description:Background:Mezzino Student Living is a rapidly expanding student accommodation operator, managing over 9,000 beds across 37 locations in Ireland and the UK. Since commencing operations in Ireland 4 years ago we have firmly established Mezzino as a major player within the Irish student accommodation sector and are the only company with operations in the university cities of Dublin, Galway, Cork, and Belfast.We now require a dynamic & confident Night Porter to join our team in one of our Galway properties.Main responsibilities:Reporting directly to the Residence Manager the Night Porter will be responsible for for the overall safety of the premises and all residents throughout the night shift.You will have specific responsibility for:To ensure that the highest level of guest service is given throughout the nightTo complete regular security walks and follow the appropriate reporting procedures for thisTo be proactive in ensuring that all Health & Safety and Security procedures are adhered to at all times therefor providing a safe and secure environment for all residentsTo establish a courteous and helpful attitude towards all residents.To carry out various cleaning duties and other general duties as and when requiredTo cover reception as required - must be able to check in and check out.To ensure a complete & clear handover is done at the end of your shift ensuring all check sheets are fully completed.You will be required to be a highly motivated person, possessing strong leadership and communication skillsWorking Hours:Full-time role - 40 hours per week spread over 4 daysBenefits:Free gym membershipJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From €14.50 per hourBenefits:Gym membershipExperience:Night Porter: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In person
