We are seeking a proactive H&S Advisor to join our established Health & Safety team in Mayo.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company Health & Safety Management System
Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Support incident investigations and reporting, identifying corrective actions
Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation and company procedures
Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings as required
Maintain accurate health & safety records and documentation
Work closely with site management and operational teams to promote a strong safety culture
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Previous experience in a Health & Safety Officer or Advisor role (or similar)
Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practices
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and across multiple sites
Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, QQI, or equivalent)
Full, clean driving licence
