OverviewSite Manager – Public Works Project (County Tipperary)Position: Site ManagerLocation: County Tipperary, IrelandStart Date: November 2025Employment Type: Full-TimeSalary: €70-80kAbout the RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the on-site delivery of a public works construction project in County Tipperary, scheduled to commence in November 2025. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a project of civic importance and lasting local impact.The Site Manager will take full responsibility for site operations, ensuring that work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with public sector regulations and standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate all on-site construction activitiesSupervise contractors, direct labour, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflowEnsure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, and public procurement standardsImplement and maintain robust health, safety, and environmental practicesLiaise with project managers, local authorities, design teams, and stakeholdersTrack project timelines and budgets, and report on progress to senior managementKeep detailed records including daily site diaries, inspections, and HSE documentationConduct regular site meetings and ensure open communication among all partiesRequirementsMinimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager or similar supervisory role on civil or public works projectsRelevant construction or engineering qualification (e.g., Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent)Excellent understanding of Irish building regulations, health & safety legislation, and local authority complianceProven ability to manage multiple contractors and workstreamsStrong communication, leadership, and organisational skillsValid Safe Pass, Manual HandlingFull clean driving licenceWhat We OfferLead role on a key public infrastructure project in County TipperaryCompetitive salary and benefits packageSupportive project management team and career development opportunitiesA chance to contribute meaningfully to your local community
