A snapshot of your key responsibilities as Router Installation Technician would be:
* Travel to customer or business sites to carry out physical installation of routers.
* Mount and connect routers to power and network ports as per installation guide.
* Use provided mobile tools (e.g., phone app or checklist) to confirm successful installation.
* Label equipment and record serial numbers, addresses, or installation photos as required.
* Ensure equipment is correctly placed and safely secured in accordance with H&S guidelines.
* Maintain daily logs and provide basic updates to the project coordinator.
* Liaise with site contacts for access and verify completed work before leaving each site.
* Adhere to safe working practices, especially when accessing utility or comms cabinets.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in field-based installation, warehousing, or maintenance roles
* Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet app to log jobs and take photos.
* Ability to travel to multiple sites
* Full clean Irish driving licence.
* Safe Pass certification
* Strong reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
