The business is investing heavily in a brand-new platform, creating a rare opportunity to shape both the technical direction and engineering culture from the ground up.You’ll lead the backend engineering function focused on building scalable, cloud-native services in a modern AWS environment. Working closely with senior stakeholders, product leaders, and engineering teams, you’ll define architecture, mentor engineers, and establish best practices across backend development, platform scalability, and delivery.The role is highly focused on Python backend engineering, distributed systems, API-driven architecture, and data-intensive workflows.
