ResponsibilitiesAct as the technical liaison between Materials Vendors, Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance (QA), and Supplier Quality teamsProvide expert technical support on material‑related issues across QC, Operations, and EngineeringActively respond to and troubleshoot material performance issues identified by Operations, Engineering, or QCLead and follow through on corrective and preventive actions where material performance is identified as the root causeProactively support the introduction, validation, and qualification of new materials and specificationsPropose improvements to existing material specifications with a focus on continuous improvement and cost reductionAnalyse material performance and prepare quantitative studies to support data‑driven decision‑makingServe as a key link between Technology Development, Operations, Engineering, and material suppliersSupport site‑wide continuous improvement initiativesAct as the QC materials representative on cross‑functional investigationsQualificationsDegree in Materials Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline or equivalentKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong problem‑solving and analytical skills with a data‑driven approachExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionallyTechnical writing skills, including the preparation of reports and investigation documentationExperience with SAP and TrackWise (or similar quality systems) is an advantageAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, regulated environmentCollaborative mindset with the confidence to engage internal and external stakeholdersInclusion and Diversity GE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
