Communications & Digital Marketing Executive Organisation: Learning & Development Institute (LDI) Location: Hybrid (Naas office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) Application Deadline: 5pm July 4th About Us Learning & Development Institute (LDI) is the professional body representing Learning and Development Professionals in Ireland.
The Institute is recruiting for the position of Communications & Digital Marketing Executive.
This is a key hire within the team and will drive our communications, PR, marketing and stakeholder engagement activities for the organisation.
Position Overview The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and will act as the lead on the development and execution of integrated communications initiatives for all LDI and related company activity.
You will act as custodian for all content placed on digital and key traditional channels to deliver a modern, progressive and professional presence and tone for LDI thereby enhancing our reputation.
The right candidate will be involved in delivering the Institutes brand and communications strategy to support and drive our growth and success.
You will play a fundamental role in developing our brand collateral, creating, editing and optimising our content with strong attention to detail, acting as a style and tone of voice guardian for the brand and supporting ways to streamline what is produced.
You will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of platforms and content topics and to support on or take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing and content strategy that aligns with organisational goals and enhances brand visibility.
Create, edit, and proof content across various channels and platforms, tailored to target audiences, with a high level of accuracy.
Communications may include a variety of print and digital channels to ensure that messages are communicated accurately, timely and reinforce L&DIs tone and brand positioning.
Liaise with external partners on the design of high-quality brand compliant artwork for campaigns and collateral including artwork for print, digital channels, and merchandise.
Create and maintain content and campaign calendars to support strategic marketing initiatives and timely content delivery.
Manage Digital Marketing content including SEO optimisation, running and analysing reports on digital activities with the aim of tracking trends, driving and increasing traffic.
Plan and implement public relations strategies, including press releases, media outreach, and brand representation at key events.
Monitor, analyse, and report on the effectiveness of communication and marketing activities, leveraging data to inform continuous improvement.
Conduct market research and collect stakeholder feedback to support business development and enhance member engagement.
Experience & Qualifications At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
Qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
Experience writing for a variety of channels, including, social media, web, and article style content which connects with the desired audience and drives action.
Demonstrable knowledge of recent innovations in digital marketing tools and technologies.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organisation.
Excellent project management and organisational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time.
Experience in professional services, membership-based organisations or similar industry is an advantage.
Personal Attributes A creative and critical thinker with a keen eye for detail.
A professional, credible and confident communicator, with excellent writing, oral, editorial and proofreading skills.
A collaborative team player who can generate and drive ideas and is eager to learn.
Strong time management skills, able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Working Arrangement This is a hybrid role.
The successful candidate must be available to work in our office in Naas on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
