Head of HR – Role Overview
Our client, a high-profile employer in Co. Clare, is seeking an experienced Head of HR to join their leadership team. This senior HR role offers an opportunity to lead HR operations and strategic HR delivery across diverse business units, reporting to the Head of Operations.
The Job
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will be a key member of the leadership team and will lead all aspects of HR operations and strategic HR delivery across the organisation’s business units. Specifically, you will be responsible for the design, delivery and implementation of HR strategies and projects, leading and mentoring HR teams, owning ER and IR issues, overseeing compensation/benefits, recruitment and training programmes, implementing HR cultural initiatives, analysing industry best practices for adoption, and providing HR input to senior leadership decision-making processes.
Your Skills/Experience
* 3rd level degree qualified, or above, in HR, business studies or a relevant discipline.
* 4-5+ years’ relevant HR experience, ideally in a HR leadership role.
* Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
* Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to lead teams and to deliver on HR projects and initiatives.
* Experience working in a unionised environment would be an advantage.
The Offer
Salary will depend on candidate skills and experience but is expected to be around €70k, plus pension and other benefits, with strong career growth prospects.
Candidates without the relevant work permit/visa to live and work in Ireland permanently will not be considered.
