We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee and manage a team of direct reports within our Fixed Income Operations department.
* The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in finance/portfolio administration/custody operations/professional services.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
* Reviewing reconciliations between internal record keeping systems and custodians for each fund.
* Conducting monthly Statement of Investments reconciliations.
* Assisting with research and resolving reconciliation discrepancies.
* Proactively communicating issues to relevant business partners.
* Taking ownership for operational issues, providing resolution that considers the impact on other operational areas.
* Anticipating potential issues that may adversely affect operational support and taking action to minimize risk.
* Identifying opportunities to improve current processes by leveraging available tools and resources.
