NEW ROLE : Our client, an early-stage contract research organization based in Ballina, requires an Analytical Supervisor to join their expanding team. The Supervisor will be responsible for a team of Analysts and will report into the Laboratory Manager.
This is a permanent role with excellent benefits.

Role
1. Oversee the quality of work produced by the Analytical team
2. Develop, co-ordinate and implement training for staff on technical aspects of new and existing assays.
3. Responsible for providing feedback on performance to analysts.
4. Scheduling daily tasks to analyst, ensuring appropriate workload is not exceeded
5. Involved in preparing costings and proposals based on protocols/project plan of proposed work by clients
6. Participate in regulatory and client audits and liaising with clients as required.
7. Assist Project Leaders in research technical information for incoming new client enquiries.
8. Compile audit responses in conjunction with the team and the Analytical Technical Operations Manager.
9. Support staff with deviations and laboratory investigation reports.
10. Ensure all raw data and test results including protocols, reports etc are retained and archived
11. Responsible for preparing 'Presentations' and the delivery of same to the Analytical Services Department team and to Clients as required.
Requirements
12. BSc. In a relevant science discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Biochemistry or Biotechnology)
13. Relevant experience in Scientific Research preferably within a GMP regulated environment (EMEA/FDA) within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, CRO Industry.
14. Proven track record of supervising/managing staff.
15. Experience in analytical techniques (e.g. HPLC, compendials, CE-SDS, icIEF, GC) essential.
16. Ability to problem solve and work on own initiative.
17. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
