Accounts Assistant required to join a rapidly growing firm based in the outskirts of Cork. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who has previous accounting experience to join their dynamic and growing finance function in one of Europe's largest manufacturing businesses on a full‑time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:
* General bookkeeping duties including bank reconciliations using Microsoft Excel and Sage.
* Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting.
* Maintaining company information, databases and records.
* Liaising and building relationships with customers and suppliers.
* Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
Required skills and experience
* ATI or Part-Qualified or equivalent
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Experience in bookkeeping and use of accounting software (Xero and Sage preferred)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise responsibilities.
* Excellent written skills and communication.
* Demonstrates initiative, whilst able to take direction.
* Three years' experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
