Overview
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Podiatrist located in Dublin. The Podiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various foot and lower limb conditions. Daily tasks include conducting assessments, prescribing orthotics, managing diabetic foot conditions, and providing patient education. The Podiatrist will also be expected to develop personalized care plans and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities
* Conduct patient assessments and clinical examinations of the foot and lower limb.
* Prescribe and manage orthotics as part of patient care plans.
* Manage diabetes-related foot conditions and provide patient education on foot care.
* Develop personalized care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
* Communicate effectively with patients and maintain thorough clinical records.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Podiatry or a related field; registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., MChSI).
* Medical knowledge and expertise in podiatry, including biomechanics.
* Experience in prescribing and managing orthotics.
* Knowledge and experience in managing diabetes-related foot conditions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
