Responsibilities
Drive healthcare design and project delivery across Ireland.
Lead large-scale projects and project teams and manage the preparation of presentation, statutory permissions, tender and construction documentation / specifications, and project delivery and post-evaluation.
Proven ability to manage client relationships / client satisfaction.
Proven working knowledge in Revit, InDesign, MS suite capability is essential.
Qualifications
A fully qualified architect with a minimum of ten (10) years' post qualification experience, you will exhibit the following skills / experience:
A min. of 10 yrs full professional membership with RIAI/RIBA or equivalent and recognised professional body.
Public Works Contract Administration (PW-CF1 or/and PW-CF2, NEC4) and D&B contract.
Ideally, proven project delivery in the Irish construction sector with a full knowledge of the statutory permissions (Planning/FSC/DAC), Irish Building Regulations, including BC(A)R process and acting as Design Certifier.
Excellent working knowledge of HBN's and HTM's, RoI healthcare policy and understanding of Health Service Executive structure and commissioning strategies across Regional Health Authorities.
Strong Experience with Delivery of CWMF (stage i-v) process or equivalent EU Public Procurement rules in the Healthcare Sector as follows:
At least 1 completed building project with a minimum value of €35m or a gross floor area greater than 7,500 sq.m.
At least 1 completed major project with construction value greater than €10m (excl. VAT) on a live site.
A live site is defined as a site with one or more buildings needing to remain occupied and operational for the duration of the project.
At least 1 programme of projects for 1 client of at least 3 projects running simultaneously with a value >€5m per project.
Experience of successful project selection, bidding and specialist healthcare networking connections.
Ideally, strong experience in leading large-scale projects and project teams and managing the preparation of presentation, statutory permissions, tender and construction documentation / specifications, and project delivery and post-evaluation.
Possess Excellent communication and Management skills, (verbal, written and presentation).
A sound understanding of and commitment to sustainable building design and delivery
Ability to administer professional services and construction contracts
Proven experience managing health and safety in design
Experience of Information Management (BIM) to ISO 16950
Proven working knowledge in Revit, InDesign, MS suite capability is essential.
