Experienced Geotechnical Engineer is required to join a highly respected, Irish-owned independent consultancy with offices in Dublin!This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing geotechnical team working within a supportive and technically strong environment. The role will involve delivering complex geotechnical design solutions as part of a multidisciplinary team on large-scale infrastructure projects, including rail, highways, structures and water schemes.The position offers excellent scope for career progression and exposure to high-profile projects both in Ireland and internationally.Duties:The successful Geotechnical Engineer will work on varied projects such as rail, highways, structures & water.You will be involved in delivery of geotechnical design packages incl. earthworks, slope stability, shallow and deep foundations and retaining walls.Planning and procurement of ground investigation contracts for major infrastructure and commercial development projectsDesigning and preparing earthworks designs to Eurocode 7, including production of earthworks specificationsPavement foundation design in accordance with TII / UK DMRB.Design of ground improvement techniques for soft ground, including surcharge, vertical drains, piled embankments, and lime/concrete subgrade stabilisation.Requirements:Level 8 Degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Structural Engineering.The successful Geotechnical Engineer should have 5+ years post graduate Geotechnical design experience within an engineering consultancy.Fully experienced in design to Eurocode 7.Experience working in Irish/UK glacial till soils desirable, but not essential.Salary & Benefits:PensionBonusCPD training & upskillingIf you are a Geotechnical Engineer looking for your next career move, please contact Jade Murray.
