Purpose of the Post:
The successful candidate will work as a key member of the multidisciplinary Mental Health team providing a patient-/client-centred quality service to patients/clients and will play a major clinical role that involves assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care given to patients/clients and their families.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (Adult Mental Health – ADHD) will play a key role in the MDT Adult Psychiatric Teams.
S/he will undertake assessments of patients referred to the Adult ADHD service, implement appropriate clinical interventions and provide support and advice to the patient.
S/he will be responsible for ensuring that service users have access to the most appropriate available services and are supported throughout this process.
Case Load: Service Users 18 years old and over who are referred to the Mental Health service with a queried/actual diagnosis of ADHD.
