We provide services in areas such as, mainly litigation, family law, banking, employment law etc.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Administrator to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing administrative operations, coordinating schedules, maintaining files, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our legal practice. This role requires excellent communication skills, discretion when handling confidential information, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative SupportProvide comprehensive administrative support to Solicitorsand legal staffManage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetingsPrepare, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, and reportsMaintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documentsHandle incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries professionallyDocument and Case ManagementAssist with document preparation, including contracts, pleadings, and discovery materialsOrganise and maintain case files and ensure all documentation is currentTrack important deadlines and court dates using case management systemsCoordinate document production and manage document review processesClient RelationsServe as a point of contact for clients and provide excellent customer serviceManage client intake processes and maintain client databasesCoordinate client communications and follow-up as neededOffice CoordinationCoordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for SolicitorsOrganise meetings, conferences, and eventsMaintain office supplies and equipmentLiaise with court personnel and counselRequired QualificationsMinimum (2-5) years of experience in a legal administrative roleProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Experience with legal practice management software (e.g., MyClient365, Cortbase, etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational and time management abilitiesAbility to handle confidential information with discretionAttention to detail and high level of accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsCertificate or legal studies courseworkExperience with dictationFamiliarity with court filing systems and proceduresKnowledge of legal terminology and document formattingSkills and CompetenciesExceptional organisational skills with ability to prioritise multiple tasksStrong problem-solving abilities and proactive approachProfessional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAdaptability and willingness to learn new systems and processesHigh level of professionalism and ethical standardsHow to ApplyInterested candidates should submit their resume, cover letter, and references to with the subject line "Legal Administrator Application - (Your Name)."
