The role is based in Julianstown, Co. Meath.
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
General upkeep of the community garden and woodland walkway at the south side of the village
Follow a schedule of seasonal work – daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly
Digging and moving soil
Hedge trimming and grass cutting
Lawn maintenance
Keeping pathways clean and clear
Litter picking in the garden and village
Planting and watering trees, flowers and vegetables
Weeding
Cleaning and maintenance of our fishpond
Safe use, handling and storage of all garden tools and equipment
Assist with setting up and clearing up at community events, e.g. Christmas, Halloween
An interest in organic horticulture and gardening is required for this position. This is an outdoor role with manual work all year round.
