Engineering Document Controller
The role of an Engineering Document Controller is a key component of our organization's Engineering Projects Team. As a contract position, this role requires a visa: either Stamp 1G or Stamp 4.
We are seeking two experienced professionals to join our team as Engineering Document Controllers. One position is part-time and the other is full-time, both working Monday to Friday on-site at one of our Client's Global Life Science Companies.
* Administer and update Project reports, related documentation, and ad-hoc reports to ensure accurate and timely review and communication of information within and outside the Engineering team.
* Process, manage, plan, and implement change management for documents.
* Manage all Vendor Documents.
* Perform spend checks on each project.
* Ensure compliance with regulations regarding removal of documentation from the Engineering Documentation Control Centre.
* Track and provide metrics to management on the status of project-related documents.
* Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation.
* Control and maintain the Engineering Documentation Control Centre.
* Issue and archive Project & Site Drawings.
* Issue the numbering system for Commissioning & Restart Documents.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Pharmaceutical industry or multi-national environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel/Word/PowerPoint, is essential. Experience with EDMS is also required.
The ideal candidate will have proven time management skills, ability to prioritize and remain focused, and work on own initiative. They should be able to manage conflicting responsibilities and anticipate key deadlines and requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary.
Relevant qualifications include a 3rd-level Diploma/Degree and technical qualification desirable (to understand drawings, technical documentation). Project management or similar qualification is also advantageous.
