* Provide accurate financial reports and analysis
* Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, financial projections, and cashflow reports.
* Oversee daily accounting operations including invoicing, revenue reporting, purchase orders, supplier payments, and credit control.
* Manage all banking activities, reconciliations, cash management, and payroll processing.
* Prepare year-end financial statements and liaise with external accountants and auditors.
* Maintain and improve financial systems, controls, and automated processes to enhance efficiency.
* Monitor and analyse financial performance, KPIs, and working capital to support business decisions.
* Ensure full compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, liaising with HMRC and Companies House as needed.
Experience, Skills and Attributes
* Accounts Technician or Part Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / IATI) (or qualified by experience) with at least 1 year relevant experience
* Strong excel skills
* A good team player with strong professional work ethic.
* Experience of Sage 50 would be preferable but not essential.
