Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer - Coastal and Marine
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior Civil Engineer to join our expanding Marine and Coastal team in Munster. This is an excellent opportunity for Chartered Engineers with 8-15 years' experience to work on challenging and varied projects within a close-knit team.

Malachy-Walsh & Partners (MWP) is an established multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy based in Munster, with offices in Cork, Tralee, and Limerick.
Responsibilities
* Design and Project Management of coastal/marine engineering projects from inception to handover
* Design and planning of large-scale port facilities, including elements such as quay walls, jetties, dolphins, and container pavements
* Coastal flood risk assessment, hydrodynamic modelling, and/or coastal protection
* Leading, managing, and running port/marine projects, preferably in the consultancy sector
* Knowledge of current codes of practice and design standards
Requirements
* Chartered Engineer status
* Minimum 8-15 years post-graduate experience in Marine Civil Engineering
* Excellent knowledge and experience of current codes of practice and design standards
* Proactive, good communicator, and ability to lead others in a multi-disciplinary project team
* Strong interpersonal skills and good written and oral communication skills
