Certified Order Entry Technician - Dublin
Are you task oriented, computer literate, and a team player?

Responsible for entering prescriptions and refills into the pharmacy system with speed and accuracy to ensure timely delivery of medications and medical supplies.
Inputs prescription orders for medicinal agents (oral, topical, parenteral, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner.
Communicates with nurses at facilities concerning clarifications or requests.
Knowledge and experience with Framework and DocuTrack is a plus; long-term care pharmacy experience preferred.
Must be computer literate with excellent keyboarding skills; good verbal and written communication skills; strong math and analytical skills.
Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician with the State of Georgia and a certified pharmacy technician.

Customer Care Technician - Dublin

Gayco Healthcare is seeking a customer service technician responsible for superior customer service to all Gayco Healthcare customers.
This position answers multi-line phone calls, fulfills caller needs, and routes calls appropriately.
A customer service technician is a licensed Georgia Pharmacy Technician who processes refill orders, researches orders, and sorts orders for distribution to other areas of the pharmacy.
Knowledge and experience with FrameworkLTC is a plus; long-term care pharmacy experience preferred.
Must be computer literate with excellent keyboarding skills; strong verbal and written communication; ability to multi-task; strong math and analytical skills.
Must be a licensed Pharmacy Technician with the State of Georgia.

Summary statements describe daily operational duties and responsibilities related to dispensing medications for long-term care facilities, under the guidance of licensed pharmacists.
Duties include:
Filling prescription orders for medicinal agents (oral, topical, parenteral, etc.).
Determining prescription allocation for dosage, drug choice, administration, and potential interactions.
Supervising technicians in prescription data entry, packaging, labeling, and distribution tasks as needed.
Supervising IV mixtures and compounding where applicable; verifying accuracy of peer pharmacists' finished work.
Directing timely delivery of medications and supplies; answering pharmacy-related questions and assisting with problem solving using drug information systems.
Assisting with special projects as needed; rotating opening/closing duties; compounding as needed.
Monitoring patient lab results related to medication orders for efficacy and safety; offering cost-effective/therapeutic alternatives when items are not covered by insurance.
Providing training/in-services to facilities on proper usage of equipment; obtaining verbal orders for controlled medications when necessary.
Maintaining customer focus and professional relationships with internal and external customers.
