Title: Cleaning Operative
Reports to: Cleaning Manager
Days per Week: Monday - Friday 15:00 - 16:30
Location: Dublin 24
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY
The successful candidate will be able to perform the following:
* Vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, wiping surface areas and making sure all areas are neat and tidy, including toilets/showers.
* Performing general sweeping, scrubbing and mopping.
* Cleaning windows, glass surfaces if required.
* Disposing of rubbish from bins and containers.
* Ability to undertake tasks as instructed by Area Supervisor.
* Complying with Health and Safety requirements both on client site and company premises.
* Exercising due care and attention when handling client property.
* Set up stocks and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
* Have ability to frequently kneel, squat and stoop with repetitive motions
* Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done.
* Replenishment of cups and glasses to the water stations around the office during the day
* Using the dishwashers to process dirty cups and water glasses during the day
* Checking on all washrooms throughout the day to empty bins, replenish stocks as required and make sure washrooms are kept clean during the day
* Assist with the flow management of people during the lunch break period
* Help with clearing down tables after people have eaten and returning plates to the kitchen area for processing
* Assisting the receptionist with various tasks as assigned during the day
* Making sure meeting rooms are clear and reset after use - using the diary system to see when the room is booked during the day and planning time effectively to reset rooms between meetings
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Required Language Skills: Speak, understand and have an ability to write English.
Previous Cleaning Experience Is An Advantage However Not Essential.
Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.
Comfortable working alone and as part of a team as required for the role.
Responsible and reliable.
Able to complete tasks on time.
This position is within a school, so a Garda Vetting will be required.
