An industry leader in environmental and infrastructure services is seeking a Lead Maintenance Electrician based in Dublin 4.
This full-time, Permannet on-site role offers the opportunity to join a well-established organisation delivering vital services across Ireland, with a strong focus on sustainability, operational excellence, and long-term partnerships
Duties and Responsibilities
* Execute maintenance activities on electrical equipment including instrumentation, PLC’s, Variable Speed Drives
* Ensuring maintenance tasks are completed.
* Ensure effective completion and ongoing review of planned equipment maintenance routines on Maintenance management system.
* Regular Communication with maintenance planner on PMs, near misses to be closed, back log of jobs
* Focus on downtime on equipment.
* Involved in training Maintenance electricians on electrical equipment and instrumentation, improve team’s systematic fault-finding skills
* Monitor, record the use and the ordering of spare parts
* Provide out of hours support to plant operations during plant start-up, running and shutdown activities
* Manage a team of maintenance electricians, electrical apprentices and contractor electricians
* Active involvement in Equipment Continuous Improvement projects.
What we need from you
* Time served electrician, QQI Level 6 or equivalent
* Demonstratable experience managing a team on Electrical staff in an industrial environment
* Knowledge of switchgear, MCC controls, relay logic and various AC and DC voltage systems
* Knowledge of the electrical and mechanical process in a Plant based/Industry setting
