Area Sales Manager - Manufacturing Sector Location: Based in Midlands/Leinster (covering the Republic of Ireland) Salary: €55,000 - €65,000 DOE Bonus: 20% OTE Benefits: Company Car, Laptop, Mobile We're working with a leading Irish company that offers a wide range of specialist products and solutions across the construction and manufacturing sectors. Well-established in the Irish market and with a strong international presence, our client is known for delivering technical solutions with a practical, customer-first approach. They're now expanding their team and looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to focus specifically on the manufacturing sector - covering everything from pharmaceutical and food & beverage to medical device and industrial manufacturing. About the Role: This is a heavily account management-focused role (approx. 70%), where you'll be managing existing key accounts while continuing to grow the territory through new business development. You'll be selling a technical range of manufacturing solutions directly to end users, and also via a strong network of installers, fabricators, and subcontractors. Your main contacts will include Engineering Managers, Quality Managers, Health & Safety Teams, and project stakeholders across high-value manufacturing environments. You'll work closely with the internal sales and technical support teams and receive full product and industry training to set you up for success. What You'll Need: Proven technical sales experience Background in selling into manufacturing environments, ideally to pharma, medtech, or food & beverage sectors A commercial mindset with strong account management and relationship-building skills Comfortable dealing with multiple decision-makers and understanding project-based, solution-led sales Experience working with main contractors, subcontractors, or installation partners is a strong advantage A self-starter who can manage their own territory and pipeline Why Apply?
