Civil Engineer Planning Specialist

Job Description:
* Plan and Coordinate: Develop detailed, resource-loaded project programmes that meet client and company objectives. Summarize key project details and communicate scope effectively to stakeholders.
* Manage Risk: Contribute to the project risk register and perform programme risk analysis to address potential challenges proactively.
* Ensure Compliance: Maintain and manage project documentation to support smooth execution. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and legal regulations across all activities.
* Mentor and Collaborate: Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills. Work closely with estimators to prepare bid programmes and ensure accurate costings. Support design engineers in developing temporary works design briefs and schedules.
* Facilitate Handover: Facilitate effective handovers between teams, ensuring clarity of scope and responsibilities. Provide ongoing feedback and support to project teams during execution.
Requirements:
* Background: Prior experience in civil engineering contracting, ideally at Agent level. Practical knowledge of planning techniques for tendering and live projects.
* Skills: Strong understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of project planning. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning software.
* Priorities: Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
