are currently seeking an experienced
Retail Manager
for a long-established marine retail business based in
Dún Laoghaire
, Co.
Dublin.
As Retail Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring high standards in customer service, merchandising, stock management, and sales performance.
You will be the face of the business on the shop floor, liaising with customers, suppliers, and the internal team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage daily retail operations to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience
Deliver excellent customer service and foster strong client relationships
Drive sales targets and maximise store profitability
Manage inventory levels, ordering and stock control
Handle product displays and merchandising to optimise footfall and sales
Maintain accurate sales and stock records using Excel and POS systems
Train, supervise, and support junior staff as required
Liaise with suppliers, manage deliveries, and stock checks
Ensure the store is clean, well-presented, and compliant with health & safety regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role
Strong customer service and sales skills
IT literate with
excellent Excel skills
(reporting, stock tracking, etc.)
A keen interest or
passion for marine products or boating
is a strong advantage
This is a full-time role based in Dún Laoghaire in which on-site training will be provided.
Salary is open to negotiation depending on experience.
