The Opportunity As Finance &?Operations Manager you will be the right hand to the Partners and Senior Management Team, overseeing the full finance cycle while driving operational excellence across the growing Dublin office.
Youll lead a small finance/admin team, shape performance metrics and spearhead process-improvement projects that directly impact service quality and profitability.
Key Responsibilities Finance Management & HR Process Improvement Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed utilisation, WIP & AR analysis Weekly cash-flow forecasting and bank/BS reconciliations Oversee day-to-day transaction processing and VAT/VIES returns Ensure compliance with Law Society Solicitors Accounts Regulations Support year-end audit and ad-hoc financial projects Provide data-driven insight to Partners for strategic decisions Lead and develop a finance assistant & support staff Liaise with auditors, outsourced IT and case-management providers Input to annual budgeting, reforecasting and fee-earner target-setting Support HR processes: recruitment, salary & bonus reviews, performance management Identify improvement opportunities across systems, processes and infrastructure Build business cases and act as project sponsor for change initiatives Drive implementation of new technology and best practice workflows What?You?Bring Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA) with 3?+?years PQE or part-qualified with 5?+?years hands-on finance/practice-management responsibility in a solicitors firm or other professional-services environment.
Advanced Excel skills; comfortable manipulating large data sets and presenting clear MI.
Proven experience with solicitors accounts, budgeting, forecasting and credit control.
Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex financial information into plain English.
Track record in HR support, resource planning and performance management.
Strong organisational skills and the agility to juggle multiple deadlines.
Familiarity with Practice Evolve or similar practice-management systems (desirable).
