Key Responsibilities:
* Grow revenue within your assigned region by developing new opportunities with strategic users.
* Design and execute tailored sales campaigns that highlight outcomes and business impact.
* Collaborate with marketing and solution engineering to craft user-specific initiatives.
* Engage senior stakeholders, including executives and directors, to advance strategic partnerships.
* Translate industry challenges into compelling value propositions using electrical solutions.
* Analyze markets and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates in software tools.
* Represent Bentley at key industry events and user engagements.
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline; a Master's degree is an advantage.
* Professional registration (e.g., CEng, EUR ING) or eligibility preferred.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in technical sales, engineering consultancy, or solution-based selling in energy, utilities, transportation, or industrial infrastructure across EMEA.
* At least 5 years of practical electrical engineering experience focused on power distribution, control systems, substation design, or electrical infrastructure for buildings and transport systems.
* Demonstrated track record of client engagement and business development success, with consistent achievement of revenue or project acquisition targets.
Technical Expertise:
* Proficiency in electrical design and analysis tools such as PLS or equivalent.
* Strong understanding of the project lifecycle, from concept and feasibility through detailed engineering, approvals, construction oversight, and commissioning.
* Familiarity with IEC standards, BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations), and regional electrical codes.
* Knowledge of sustainable energy practices, smart grids, and renewable integration within EMEA.
* Awareness of digital transformation trends in electrical engineering, including BIM for MEP, IoT integration, and intelligent energy management systems.
* Familiarity with major software vendors in the electrical domain, with ability to position solutions competitively.
