Associate Recruitment Consultant | Semiconductor, AI & ML, Software Engineering, Embedded Computing
A leading global semiconductor company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its site in Cork.
In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions across the entire stack. You will work closely with other engineers to deliver innovative and impactful solutions that support our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop robust and scalable web applications and engineering tools.
2. Work across the full stack, including data, integration, API, and UI layers.
3. Develop and maintain critical systems, integrations, and APIs, primarily for engineering teams.
4. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.
5. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
6. Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices.
7. Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
8. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
1. 3+ years of professional software development experience.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3. Experience with data structures, algorithms, and databases.
4. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. A strong passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow.
