Strategic Business Partnership Executive
Job Description:
* The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resource department and site departments to drive business objectives through effective systems and processes.
* He/She will assist the HR Manager with staffing decisions by assessing needs and objectives, helping managers identify suitable knowledge/skills/abilities, and being involved in the recruitment & selection process.
* This position will design, develop, and implement employee engagement programs and HR initiatives aligned with the site's HR strategy.
* The incumbent will provide guidance and counseling to managers and employees on employee relations, employee discipline, and performance.
* They will work closely with respective department managers to ensure adherence to Local/National, European, and Corporate HR policies, procedures, and laws.
* Investigate and manage employee relations issues and ensure compliance with the site's disciplinary procedure.
* Design and develop leadership training programs and run quarterly leadership forums and HR Clinics at the site.
* Develop and coordinate a communications program that ensures harmonious employee relations.
* Lead the Performance management process for the respective site and ensure all Divisional due dates are met.
* Ensure all applicable legal requirements are met and work closely with Legal counsel on all situations that pose a litigation risk or other liability.
* Proactively identifies potential employee initiatives by participating in functional management and employee meetings regularly.
* Participates in maintaining an accurate job documentation system by conducting job analyses for jobs as needed, determining status and appropriate grade, and auditing the system regularly to ensure that job descriptions exist for all active jobs.
* Conducts employee training on various HR-related areas.
* Working closely with the HR Central team and site leaders to ensure appropriate employee documentation, changes to employees' status, pay, and benefits, annual performance appraisal process, employee relations investigations, employee discipline, and employee terminations to maintain compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.
* Prepare monthly HR metrics relating to areas of responsibility to management and the division as required.
* Represents business unit human resource teams and projects by conducting research, analyzing data, and compiling statistical reports and information.
* Conducts all aspects of the job with an appropriate level of confidentiality and sensitivity to employee and organizational data, and does not disclose confidential information.
Requirements:
* Level 7/8 in Business Studies or other relevant discipline and CIPD Membership.
* 6+ years of related work experience as an HR Business Partner/Generalist with a strong understanding of Core HR policies & procedures and experience managing employee relations issues.
* Solid understanding and application of business concepts, HR procedures, and practices.
* Previous experience managing employee relations issues is essential.
* Good knowledge of Irish employment law. Previous experience in the design and delivery of leadership training programs.
* Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
* Plans and organizes non-routine tasks with w/approval.
* Establishes and cultivates an extensive network of support to facilitate completion of assignments. Project management experience an advantage as may lead project teams.
