HR Business Operations Support IV (UK & Ireland) – 12 month contract at Medtronic

Responsibilities
* Contributes to a world-class employee experience by applying HR best practices effectively and consistently.
* Provides deep business knowledge and HR expertise to HR business partners (HRBPs), enabling them to provide strategic support across the organisation.
* Coordinating responses effectively and efficiently to more complex, escalated HR cases.
* Elevates on-demand solutions (like the HR Portal, HR virtual assistant and Workday) as the go-to knowledge resource for HRBPs and their clients.
* Collaborates across the Human Resources function to establish operational standards and procedures that are leveraged to respond to HRBP questions, ensures transactions are processed accurately and HR programs and processes are administered effectively and efficiently.
* Contributes to continuous improvement by working with the AskHR country coordinators and broader HR Services team to achieve solutions for all HR Shared Services Centre processes, and ensures efficient information flow between HR Partners and other parties.
* Performs verification of required documentation, identifies and troubleshoots HR transactional processes related to multiple HR-based applications and systems.
* Maintains ownership of assigned cases escalated to them until closure with the end user.
* Acts as a contact for AskHR and HRBPs on questions related to Medtronic global, regional, and country HR policies, procedures and benefits, including social legislation and employment terms and conditions, HR systems and programs.
* Maintains records for employees’ HR documents/records through scanning/filing systems and generates letters, contracts, correspondence, forms, and other HR-related documents.
* Assists in a wide variety of general HR projects supporting EMEA HR, providing technical and highly skilled clerical and project coordination support.
* Supports Senior Leaders with queries related to HR systems (Workday, Recognise System and Taleo) and directs customers to additional resources and self-service tools as appropriate.
Key Skills & Experience
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
* Qualified in a relevant Business or HR discipline is advantageous.
* Good command of MS Office programs.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
* Well organised, aptitude for paperwork, good follow-up skills, strong organisational and coordination skills.
* Active and good listener, team player, effective problem-solving skills, result and quality oriented.
* Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
* Workday or ServiceNow knowledge a distinct advantage.
