We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing Lead to join a well-known not-for-profit organisation based in Cork. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the efforts to grow awareness, donations, and engagement through digital channels. This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across disciplines and is passionate about making a difference.
This is a full-time, permanent role, but a reduced working week of 4 days will be considered for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and Lead Digital Strategy: Drive a results-focused digital marketing strategy to support fundraising, engagement, and awareness goals, aligned with current trends and opportunities.
2. Set KPIs and Analyse Performance: Establish digital KPIs, track performance across all channels, and deliver actionable insights through regular reporting.
3. Manage Budgets: Oversee the digital marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with impact.
4. Lead Paid Social Campaigns: Plan, test, and optimise paid social media campaigns, targeting the right audiences with effective messaging across key platforms.
5. Optimise Email Marketing: Deliver segmented, personalised email campaigns to supporters and donors, continuously improving relevance and performance.
6. Enhance Website Performance: Manage and optimise the website, using analytics to boost user experience, supporter conversion, and donation outcomes.
7. Drive SEO Improvements: Implement practical SEO strategies to increase visibility and support income across campaigns, services, and fundraising.
8. Support E-commerce and Continuous Learning: Maximise online shop revenue in collaboration with fundraising teams, while fostering a culture of analysis and ongoing improvement.
Requirements:
9. Proven experience in a digital marketing role, ideally with direct response marketing experience within the not-for-profit or purpose-led sector.
10. Strong working knowledge of digital strategy, campaign planning, and multi-channel delivery.
11. Experience managing or collaborating on website content and development.
12. Good understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them.
13. Experience running email marketing campaigns, ideally using segmentation or automation tools.
14. A solid grasp on how e-commerce platforms work and how to increase online sales.
15. Experience running social media ad campaigns and confidence in using analytics platforms.
16. Strong organisational and project management skills.
