Operational Excellence Manager
Job Summary
* We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to lead our plant's continuous improvement strategy, implementing lean and Six Sigma principles to drive process excellence.
* The successful candidate will develop and maintain a comprehensive OpEx Masterplan, ensuring alignment with key performance indicators and driving measurable outcomes.
* Responsibilities include:
* Initiating sustainable transformational business improvement programs to meet/exceed customer expectations;
* Leading teams through the implementation of Lean Six Sigma projects to address specific business process problems;
* Supporting all areas in Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives;
* Achieving agreed objectives as a result of improvement projects;
* Assisting in the selection of priority Lean & Six Sigma projects for the plant;
* Providing Lean & Six Sigma training as needed for the plant;
* Coodinating the OpEx program with the Global OpEx team;
* Serving as a recognized expert to facilitate problem solving, workouts, value stream mapping and special data analysis;
* Ensuring regular presence on the shop floor and other areas to engage with operational teams, observe processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
* NB: Directly reports to the Site Leader.
Requirements
* Direct experience in leading Operational Excellence initiatives;
* Strong working relationships with leadership teams, extended leadership team, global OpEx colleagues and GMS colleagues;
* Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
* Proven track record of delivering process improvements and achieving tangible results;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Ability to interpret complex data and provide recommendations;
* Knowledge of lean and Six Sigma methodologies;
* Ability to train and coach others in lean and Six Sigma principles.
