Overview




The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales of our clients Agri Tech Products. This role will involve achieving sales targets via lead generation and opportunity conversions by building strong customer relationships which supports our company's growth plan. Working with our internal team to build effective working relationships with new and existing customers. This role is field based covering the Midlands/South.






Qualifications




1. Minimum 3 years field sales experience B2C essential
2. A third level qualification in business, commerce, finance or another relevant field is advantageous
3. Good interpersonal and communication skills with advanced negotiation and closing skills required
4. A proven history of working to and achieving sales budgets/targets is a prerequisite.
5. A strong working knowledge of farming and agriculture is essential (Dairy sector preferable) with a technical understanding of agricultural products an advantage
6. Full clean driving licence essential
7. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and other computer applications, previous experience in using CRM an advantage
8. Good interpersonal and communication skills with advanced negotiation and closing skills required
9. Must be highly organised, detail oriented with a strong ability to multi-task






Responsibilities




10. Identify new business opportunities with existing, new end users and trade partners
11. Follow up on all existing leads as well as identifying new leads and new business opportunities
12. Increase product awareness in the marketplace and drive sales in line with your sales target
13. Follow up with farm visits to customers to identify their needs and gain an understanding of their farm to ensure our product will suit the needs of the farmer to ensure Evolution or other products from our range are the right product for their needs
14. Effectively communicate any market findings and customer insights to management
15. Consistently hit your targets and grow sales as per our company sales budget
16. Utilise CRM software for collaboration of daily activities, sales pipeline management along with market and customer information
17. Provide product training and demonstration to our customer and support our Field Service Technician with product install etc
18. Attend trade shows/open days etc as required
19. Submits orders by referring to pricelists and product literature
20. Monitor opposition by gathering marketplace info on pricing, products, delivery schedule
21. Providing Customer support and working in collaboration with service team
22. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establish personal networks
