TOBIN has an exciting opportunity for a Traffic Engineer to join our Roads and Transportation Division.
This role can be based in any of our office locations (Limerick, Galway, Sligo, Dublin, Castlebar) on a hybrid working arrangement.
Description: The position of Design Engineer within TOBIN requires a minimum Level 8 Honours Degree qualification in Civil/Transport Engineering (or equivalent qualification appropriate to the tasks assigned) and in general, the title may apply to staff that have between 2 and 6 years' experience depending on the knowledge and skills gained over the course of their career to date.
Duties and Responsibilities: Where directed by the Project Manager, liaise with clients to deliver the required deliverables.Engage with Local Authorities and Stakeholders.Review documents and designs prepared by Graduate Engineers.Preparation of Traffic and Mobility Reports.Experience working with multidisciplinary team.Proficient in analysing data and problem solving skills.Management of sub-consultants.Undertake Transport Modelling.Take instruction from their Line Manager (and where appropriate the relevant Project Manager and senior members of the project teams).The Skills Required of a Design Engineer: Excellent written and verbal (English) communication and interpersonal skills.Strong knowledge with the application of Microsoft Office Suite.Proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2D and/or AutoCAD 3D.Expertise in the use of PICADY, ARCADY and LinSig software.If you feel that this opportunity is something you may be interested in and would like an opportunity to discuss the matter further, please forward your CV to ******.
