Role Overview
The Deputy Social Care Manager will assist the Centre Manager in overseeing the daily operations of a residential centre for young people seeking international protection.
This role involves administrative tasks, staff progression, and implementing Placement Plan objectives to ensure high-quality care for young people.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the Centre Manager with day-to-day management
2. Maintaining an integral practice role to provide exceptional care
3. Implementing Placement Plan objectives and monitoring progress
4. Maintaining accurate records and reports
5. Providing supervision and support to staff members
To be successful, you will have experience working with young people in residential settings and possess excellent communication skills. A degree in a relevant field such as psychology or social science is required, along with CORU registration and a full driver's license.
