About Your New Job
As our new
Commercial and Technical Manager
, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth through both technical expertise and commercial strategy. You will identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities in road maintenance, resurfacing, traffic management, and innovative pavement projects across Ireland.
In this dynamic position, you'll combine your civil engineering knowledge and strong problem-solving abilities to deliver tailored solutions that meet complex client needs. You'll engage directly with clients, oversee bid preparation, negotiate contracts, and lead technical discussions — all while promoting innovation and ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
What You Need for This Job
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A degree (or equivalent) in
Civil Engineering
,
Construction Management
, or a related discipline.
* A minimum of
7 years' experience
in road surfacing, bituminous works, or pavement construction.
* Strong technical knowledge of
asphalt materials, paving operations,
and
industry standards
.
* Proven ability to manage both
commercial
and
technical
aspects of contracts.
* Airfield pavement experience (desirable but not essential).
* Excellent
commercial awareness
,
negotiation
, and
communication
skills.
* A proactive, results-driven mindset with strong analytical and organisational abilities.
* Flexibility to travel and meet clients nationwide.
