Job Overview
The primary function of the Branch Support Advisor is to renew and sell Personal Lines, Farm, and Commercial Business. The role involves assisting Branches to achieve their Renewal and New Business targets while delivering superior customer care that produces sales results and enhances the FBD Brand. The role primarily provides phone support to Sales Offices and participates in new business campaigns when required.
Job Responsibilities
* Renew and sell Personal Lines, Farm, and Commercial Business.
* Assist Branches in achieving renewal and new business targets.
* Provide phone support to Sales Offices.
* Participate in and complete new business campaigns as needed.
Education
* Strong knowledge of FBD products and systems; 3+ years' experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
* Qualified to APA, APP, CIP, or hold Grandfathered Accreditation; assistance will be provided to obtain these qualifications within the timeframe set by the Central Bank of Ireland.
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent, or relevant third-level qualification.
Experience
* Insurance/financial services experience is advantageous but not essential.
* Sales/customer service experience in a similar role is a plus.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships, with excellent communication and organizational skills. Ambitious, target-driven, energetic, and positive outlook required.

* Meet regulatory requirements as per the Minimum Competency Code (Central Bank, 2011) and Fitness and Probity Standards (Central Bank, 2012).
