Due to ongoing expansion Metaltech Engineering in Sixmilebridge, Co Clare are looking for a quality control supervisor to join our team. This role is permanent and full time, working 39 hours per week. The successful candidate will work closely with our production manager to drive manufacturing standards and ensure finished goods are fully compliant with job requirements prior to delivery
Qualifications & Experience
* Min 3 years experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment
* Experience of implementing or working to ISO9001 or EN1090 factory production control standards
* Previous experience working in steel fabrication / sheet metal sectors an advantage
Overview of Responsibilities
* Review new jobs / projects with engineering and assisting in the creation of manufacturing and quality control documentation required
* Perform final checks on goods before despatch ensuring adherence to quality control requirements as specified by the customer and as required within relevant standards
* Management of factory production control documentation and leading of ISO9001 / EN10-90 and supplier audits as required
* Ensure continued adherence to ISO 9001 and EN1090 factory production control systems and recommend and implement improvements to existing systems
* Assist in fostering a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of manufacturing and engineering
