ICT Project Manager
Location: Hybrid working model. The role will be primarily off-site, with on-site attendance required at Ballina-Mayo twice a month, and occasional visits to Galway and Dublin.
Duration: 12+ months contract – highly extendable.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage project deliverables and milestones throughout the project lifecycle, including preparing the Project Initiation Document, setting a baseline, managing RAID, financial tracking, benefits tracking, issuing communications, managing resources, and implementing change control.
* Coordinate project documents across ICT, Data, Design Authority, and Business teams, ensuring a Business Case is prepared, approved by senior leadership, and followed.
* Maintain alignment with the business case and governance documents, ensuring scope, benefits, planning, and delivery are consistent with objectives.
* Create and deliver robust project plans for large technical and transformation projects, ensuring scope, time, and budget are met.
* Oversee day-to-day project management, stakeholder engagement, and team communication.
* Monitor project progress relative to goals and milestones.
* Produce high-quality, accurate reports and facilitate project meetings.
* Drive third-party delivery and ensure resource availability and quality gates are met.
* Proactively address project challenges and manage project closure and business realization reviews.
* Participate actively in the Project Management Office and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Hold a recognized project management qualification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, IPMA, Scrum).
* Experience managing multiple technical and transformation projects independently using formal methodologies.
* Engage with stakeholders, escalate risks/issues, and report to senior leadership.
* Prioritize and allocate resources effectively, including external partners.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with project lifecycle and Stage Gate frameworks.
* Experience with Portfolio and Project Management systems.
* Experience as a Scrum Master within an Agile framework.
Candidates must hold appropriate RTW documentation for Ireland, such as Stamp 1G, Stamp 4, or Irish/British/EU passports.
