This role involves in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and the capacity to work with payroll software systems, indicating a blend of technical expertise and regulatory comprehensionThis role will be part of our global payroll team providing support for up to 1,500 employees across 17 EMEA Countries as we operationally separate from Medtronic to an independent business.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Utilize the payroll vendor platform to process payroll for employees across multiple EMEA locationsEnter, review, and validate payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and benefits deductionsManage and process special payroll cycles, such as bonuses, commissions, and equity awardsEnsure all payroll processing adheres to company policies and local and international statutory regulationsReview and reconcile payroll reports each pay period to ensure accuracy of employee payments, vendor remittances, and statutory filingsPartner with HR and Finance teams to streamline data flows and resolve issues related to employee data and integrationsContribute to projects involving payroll implementations, upgrades, and integrations with other finance systemsRequired Knowledge and Experience:Experience in high-volume payroll processing, with direct hands-on experienceProven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlinesStrong communicator with analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and manipulationAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionAdditional desirable qualifications include proficiency with CloudPay or ADP payroll systemsPhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits PackageA commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
