An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hotel Services Assistant to join the Bon Secours Health System Galway, Ireland's Largest Private Healthcare provider.
Job Purpose
To provide housekeeping services within the hospital in accordance with the housekeeping shift schedules and procedures.

Fluency in English
Previous housekeeping experience desirable but not essential
Responsibilities and Experience
To liaise with supervisors and nursing staff when special precautions are in place when other cleaning
duties are required.
To ensure patient and staff safety is maintained during the cleaning process.
Ensure that the patient area is clean, and all equipment is operational before releasing an area for new admissions.
To report any defects/faults of equipment to maintenance staff immediately.
To perform all duties in a safe manner, adhering to hospital policies and procedures and training, e.g.
Use of protective clothing and hazard identification.
Essential Qualifications
Education: Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent.
