We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in a full-time position. This role requires a minimum of one year of experience in a kitchen environment and a professional qualification in culinary arts or HACCP. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the smooth running of food production operations, including maintaining clean working stations, adhering to health and safety standards, and overseeing the induction, training, and development of staff in the food production area.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carry out stock takes and work out the cost price for product and portion control.
* Seasonal update of offerings
* Maintain clean working stations whilst adhering to health and safety standards
* Assist in the induction, training and development of staff in the food production area
* Oversee and ensure the smooth running of food production operations.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience in fresh food, experience in ordering for deli departments, and managing waste within a fresh food department. They will also have experience in successfully achieving sales targets and KPIs.
