Job Purpose
The Senior Occupational Therapist will be responsible for developing and delivering tailored therapeutic interventions and strategies to clients, in line with agreed training programmes. This role requires close collaboration with a multidisciplinary support team and active participation in daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide systematic training according to specified curricula, maintaining accurate records of trainee progress.
2. Maintain comprehensive records and produce reports on client progress, communicating verbally and/or in writing as required.
3. Evaluate and assess client needs, producing detailed profiles to support occupational rehabilitation.
4. Liaise with academic and administrative staff, ensuring seamless cooperation with the occupational therapy team.
5. Develop innovative rehabilitation interventions and curricula, catering to learner needs.
6. Contribute to research initiatives to evaluate the effectiveness of the OT service.
