Your Main Duties As a Maintenance Assistant Will Be:Ensure that maintenance and repair work on the property is carried out as requiredEnsure that all areas are left in a neat, clean and safe condition after maintenance work has been carried outObserve all safety procedures and rules in order to prevent accidents resulting from any maintenance activityCommunicate with your Manager on all serious maintenance issues and report on the progress of maintenance on the propertyEnsure that OH&S and HACCP standards are maintained and adhered toEnsure all work is carried out to the highest professional and Safety standards possibleAssist as part of the team responsible for the routine maintenance and upkeep of the hotel facilities, and refurbishment of hotel facilities and services*Who We Are Looking For*A candidate with:Proven experience in a similar roleSelf-motivation and the ability to work in a fast paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to recommend and implement improvements in their department or the hotel in generalHealth & Safety knowledge and awarenessPlumbing experience would be an advantage however not essential*About The Sandymount Hotel*The Sandymount Hotel is a 4-star, award-winning hotel based in the residential suburb of Sandymount, Dublin 4.
