Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Inventory Management Specialist to oversee all day-to-day inventory activities, ensuring full compliance with internal policies and procurement regulations.
This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure timely and accurate generation of all purchase orders, tracking of all shipments, and root cause analysis of non-conformances.
* Collaborate with Sales and Operations stakeholders to proactively avoid stock-outs.
* Analyze supply and demand to forecast inventory needs and minimize stock shortages or excesses.
* Maintain inventory levels in line with agreed targets based on usage and sales.
* Adhere to purchasing and stock control SOPs and ensure effective and efficient transactions in accordance with company procedure and policy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Attention to Detail: Essential for maintaining accurate inventory records and quality control.
* Organisational Skills: Important for managing large quantities of stock and ensuring efficient operations.
* Problem Solving Abilities: Needed to address supply chain disruptions and inventory discrepancy root cause analysis.
* Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software and electronic ordering systems as well as advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
* Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact collaboratively with vendors, clients, and internal teams effectively.
